Top 5 “Must-Have” Smart Baby Products for 2024

I know bringing home your newborn is an exciting adventure, but it can also be a bit overwhelming. The market is full of products designed to help babies sleep and keep them healthy, but which products do you really need? Which ones actually work? To help you navigate your options, I’ve compiled a list of the five “must-have” baby products that I really loved and couldn't live without in the first 3 months of my baby's life.

1. Baby Monitor: Nanit Pro Camera

If you’re like me, all you want is for your sweet newborn to fall asleep. Once she finally does, the last thing you want is to stay up, stressing about whether she’s still on her back or breathing properly. The Nanit Pro Camera offers peace of mind like you wouldn’t believe. It tracks your little one’s breathing patterns without any sensors and wires so that you can relax and get some rest. The camera allows you to keep an eye on your child and even offers two-way communication. This gadget has it all.

2. Sleep: Swing2Sleep Motor Baby Hammock

When I had a newborn, I was willing to try just about anything to get my baby to fall asleep. One of the tried and true tricks for helping an infant to doze is gentle motion. Unfortunately, you can’t keep swinging your baby in your arms forever (believe me, I’ve tried!). That’s where the Swing2Sleep baby hammock comes in. This incredibly safe and cozy motorized hammock provides a gentle swaying motion that will lull babies to sleep and help them (and you) to rest longer!

You and your newborn deserve the very best of everything. You don’t need every single baby product on the market, but these picks will keep your little one safe and sleeping soundly.

3. Nasal Aspirators: Nosefrida

No one wants their baby to fall ill, but it’s an inevitable fact of life. I’ve found that the best way to ease your worry is to be prepared with a good nasal aspirator. The Nosefrida is a favorite of mums across the globe. It offers a gentle, safe, and natural approach to clearing up your little one’s airways so they can get back to health quickly.

4. Wearing: Najell Baby Wrap Biscotti

I love babywearing, but I don’t love the hassle of figuring out how to tie baby wraps properly. The Biscotti baby wrap from Najell gets rid of all the confusion and guesswork. It’s pre-tied and designed to go on as easily as a shirt and makes it possible to carry the baby out in public or to offer precious skin-to-skin time. Love the color too :)

5. Feeding: Philips Avent Baby Bottles and Nipples

I can assure you that whether you’re breastfeeding or formula feeding, baby bottles are an absolute must! I love Phillips Avent bottles and nipples because they are designed with both newborns and growing babies in mind. The bottles are BPA-free and are available in varying sizes, so you can adjust food intake as your baby’s needs change. In addition, the nipples are soft and textured to ensure a natural lap. These also come in different sizes to adjust for flow, and anti-colic valves are available.
