We recommend purchasing a cradle that still has a 2-year warranty. Although we are usually very accommodating with repairs, it can be very annoying if your cradle breaks, especially if you cannot be sure that it was set up and used correctly by the previous owner. Make sure you receive an invoice from the purchase contract, otherwise no free repair can be guaranteed.

Check the cradle for defects before use

Check the swing2sleep carefully for defects before commissioning, especially the motor and power supply unit. As the springs may have been overloaded, it is important to replace them with new ones. You can purchase a new set of springs in our store.

Cleaning the products

For hygiene reasons, we recommend washing the used hammock before using it for the first time. All our hammocks are washable at 40 degrees, the mattress at 30 degrees. The wooden pole and metal parts should not be washed. It is best to hang the baby hammock on a hanger to dry. Do not iron to avoid damaging the material.

Depending on your preference, you can either hang the cradle on our ceiling hook, the door clip or one of our frames - whether design or premium. You can find all these products in our store.

Our ceiling hook has a number of features that make it a particularly space-saving solution for hanging the swing2sleep. The scope of delivery includes the appropriate fastening material for concrete ceilings and a chain with which you can easily set the optimum suspension height. The eyelet on which the motor is suspended can be rotated through 360°, which prevents the baby hammock from twisting. Another advantage of our ceiling hook is its load capacity of up to 200 kg, which means that you can continue to use it for other purposes even after using it for the cradle.

What tools do I need to attach the ceiling hook?

Our CEILING HOOK must be anchored directly into the concrete ceiling. We supply you with the appropriate fastening material. You will also need a drill to drill the holes. You will need a wrench to fix the screws. Further information and the exact tools you need can be found in the operating instructions.

The door clamp is suitable for door frames with a maximum width of 22 cm. It is important that you only use stable door frames that have a support surface (edge width) of at least 0.5 cm. In addition, the contact surface of the door frame should be straight and even, i.e. not slanted or rounded, to ensure secure attachment.

Regardless of how the swing2sleep is hung, it is crucial that it is at least 40 cm from the floor when not in use, i.e. without the baby lying in it. It must be ensured that the baby never comes into contact with the floor when rocking up and down. We recommend a suspension height of 1.90 m or more to ensure optimum safety and comfort.

What is the maximum weight for using the door clamp?

The maximum load capacity of the door frame clamp is 15 kg. Please note that our swing2sleep (motor + hammock) has a dead weight of approx. 3 kg and must be deducted from the total load capacity.

As long as you follow the recommendations for placing your baby in the automatic baby hammock, it is a safe sleeping environment.

For newborns or very small children, it is crucial to ensure that the baby is positioned stably in the automatic baby hammock and cannot tip over to the side. This is particularly important if you use an additional pad, as this can create more space in the hammock. As a result, the baby may no longer be as closely enclosed by the sides of the automatic baby hammock.
